Took me a little bit to get into Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I think that's mostly because I don't think I like Buffy herself much. But the men around her... wow! Here's my book dedicated to the best collection of characters.

🥋🦅 After first appearing in Buffy vs. Dracula, Dawn Summers was eventually revealed as the Key over Season 5; in The Gift, Buffy saved the world & Dawn by jumping into Glory's portal in Dawn's place, thus closing it with her blood. Buffy knew she and Dawn shared "Summers blood" (as Buffy called it) because the monks made Dawn from her; Dawn's blood opened the portal, whereas Buffy's blood closed it. As a result, the portal closed for good and stayed that way since Buffy's death and resurrection. Since then, Dawn explained, she was now the former Key, and even if she was still the Key, she no longer opened anything.
