Winter is a mermaid. She lives in the beautiful underwater world of Oceanum and also shares the same birthday as the mysterious Prince Xanthus. On their 17th birthday, the prince announces who will be his bride and the future queen. When Winter is chosen, she finds herself engaged to the stranger prince and in training to become Oceanum's future queen. At first, Xanthus and Winter completely despise each other, but slowly they begin to fall in love. But when Winter finds out that the Choosing was rigged in her favor, she is torn away from the prince and locked up. Will Xanthus come to her rescue?
