Aliens have landed. Their motives and objectives are unknown. Against them stand the men and women of XCOM: humanity's first, last, and best line of defense. They are elite. They have the best of the world's science behind them. And they will not be enough. This story is based on the game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. The characters and events, including their survival, will be based on what the Random Number God gives me and what I can make of it, both in game terms and writing. And, of course, any comments you have, be they about writing style and technique or gameplay, go ahead and fire away. Alright ima admit I'm an Xcom fan this is a story I'm still thinking of

When Installation 09 departed from the Ark, it's travel through slipspace went relatively well, however the destination was far different from Professor Ellen Anders had expected. Trapped in a new reality, Anders struggles to understand what has changed, and fears what will happen to the Spirit of Fire without support. - The battle for the Ark has been one of intense destruction and battle, with the troops of the UNSC Spirit of Fire fighting a desperate tug of war against the forces of the Banished, even with Atriox leaving the Ark, fighting to wrestle control of the ring with their resources slowly dwindling. In a desperate act to find help, Captain James Cutter orders Isabel to prepare a team to open the slipspace portal which Anders went through aboard the ring. But when their mission succeeds, they find themselves in a strange mimicry of their reality, with an Earth subjugated by a force they had not even recognized. - XCOM was losing. It lost the first contact war, and now it was losing the resistance war. Even with the Commander to lead them, they had made little progress in destabilizing the aliens regime. But this would change with a new factor being added to the game, as what can only be described as Fire From Above.

With commander Mark Watny Dead, the rest of team XCOM Fight their way to victory, with bad luck on the way, Team XCOM fight for a group of previous heroes, known as the Vangaurds

This is my story based on my play though in XCOM: Enemy Unknown, I have no dlc or mods and am using the second wave options: hidden potential, not created equal, the greater good, absolutely critical, new economy, and damage roulette I promise to update regularly. I was inspired to write this by a fellow wattpader when reading his "The Xcom Project" ty so much DeusExLogica!

The life of Y/N L/N was nothing of note. He was just another citizen trying to get by in life. All of that changed when the aliens came. Now he has come to one of oppression and suffering, as ADVENT authorities rule his city of Darwin with an Iron fist. So he abandoned his normal life, and joined the resistance movement, XCOM. But while he's fighting for the resistance, an old friend catches his eyes. Jane Kelly, a rugged, rough, and independent woman with a strong Irish accent. Y/N and Jane were old childhood friends. Jane was born in Ireland, but her family was forced to move to Australia. The two of you quickly became friends. But now, the two of you must fight to defeat the alien threat. And potentially, find love for each other. (I do not own Xcom 2, or any artwork and videos used in this story. They all belong to their respective owners.
