Demi vowed to her husband Wilmer that she'd love him until death do they part when he's gone off the deep end to get revenge. He's run away to the Big Easy in search of the monster who murdered his family and to get rid of the price on his head. A year has passed and Wilmer has not returned, so Demi took matters into her own hands by going after his demon in order to save him. But there's a catch: The monstrous demon is Klaus Mikaelson, notoriously known as the heartless Original hybrid. Half vampire-half werewolf and all powerful and feared. Demi's now found herself playing with fire when she and Klaus cross paths in New Orleans. Tensions run high as her motives to kill him become blurred with her feelings towards him and her estranged husband. Will Demi break her vow? Does Wilmer ever return to her? Who will she choose?
