This is my AU! (Wings AU) Grian awakes one day in his castle in the rocks, to find a rather jarring discovery. He now has wings, glittering a dark purple. He must hide this fact from his friends and figure out what caused this. But when he finds out the truth, will he be able to fix the mess that he has made and reverse this before his friends catch on? Or will he find that its already too late and the damage has been done? Grain was just able to escape the watchers, he ended up on a strange server called the DreamSmp. He met a lot of new people the first one was definitely the loudest one named TommyInnit. There where a lot of others but a few stuck out, especially Dream. Dream seemed like he was trying to hide something. But the other people that seemed to stick out where Technoblade who didn't seem to like him very much and Philza who he didn't think was suspicious or anything but what made him stick out was his wings, it's now out of the ordinary for people to have different odd attributes like Techno but wings where only earned in very specific way, like finding an elytra, but those weren't real wings he couldn't help but be curious. But what he did know was that he needed to stay away from the watchers and make sure that this server doesn't have the same fate as Evo.

And then there were his eyes. Bags had formed under them and they were quite bloodshot, yet there was a certain wildness to them. His eyes were wide open despite his fatigue, and he looked more than a little frantic. "Guys! You can't be here!" "What?" X tilted his head in confusion. "Why not?" Grian turned to Scar. "Can't you feel it?" Scar didn't understand. "Grian? What are you talking about? Feel what?" "The magic!" Grian cried. "It's too dangerous for you to be here!" "Grian, you're not making any sense." By now, Grian was visibly shaking. "Just - please tell me you didn't go inside." "We were just coming out," X replied. Grian's eyes, if even possible, grew larger, the redness accentuating the anxiety therein. No - not anxiety. Fear. What happens when Xisuma, Scar, Joe, and Wels stumble upon a strange temple in a distant jungle filled to the brim with magic? What happens when Grian's past is thrust back upon him, after only a year of peace? And why is everyone changing?

There wasn't much of a hierarchy for the Watchers, their small population and overall sense of unity allowed for that, but there was one thing; The Highest. The hermits wake up with no knowledge of who they are, where they are, or what their doing there. In addition to this total memory loss, they soon discover that they've all woken up speaking completely different languages. With no way to understand those outside of small groups, they start to form alliances with those they understand...and rivalries with those they don't. How will they learn to deal with this situation? ..... And what caused the memory loss in the first place?

When he has been through a lot of torture, Grian find that happiness lies in misery. Other people's misery. Along with wanting to build an Empire, he wants to control people. he wants to see people have the same fate as he did.
