500 years after the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Rex and his team have been labeled as heroes after their adventure to find Elysium. Things have changed around Alrest since then, but most importantly, the fabled Aegises, Pyra and Mythra have both disappeared along with their driver a few decades after the formation of Elysium. The story focuses on a 17 year old boy, Nick, who has little idea that his life will become very hectic. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 belongs to Monolith Soft. I do not take ownership of characters belonging to the franchise.

Hello, thank you so much for reading!! In case you're new to reading, or maybe haven't seen my past posts, this is my [alternate universe] telling of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. This is simply the prologue, but I do feel it is an important part of my story uwu I write this like I would RP, so it might not be super good, but all of it comes from the heart. The story will follow 23 year old Helena, an Ardainian driver who wants to prove her strength, and the two blades whom follow her path. Not only hers, but her blade's backstories will all be told through story. I plan for this to be like, somewhat long with several chapters, and of corse, two books (tgc and base) The reason it is "retold" would be because I am still using the game's plot, but it's not the main focus, nor is it the same journey as my main character. I classify this as an au because I do in fact add characters whom know the canon characters on different levels (acquaintance - Love interests - close friends, etc) and there are events that I may alter or change entirely for story purposes. Yokaisonas may be fun to meet unique friends but hard to handle or take care. Because of the increase of yokaisonas with their guardians, they need to be on a special class to learn how to handle them both care and power with the help of the old guardians and partners. On the side note of the class, The Dimei Gang are having their encounter with problems, club and little Yokai who want to become Yokaisonas as they meet new friends from different worlds. One doesn't think of the lowly enemy grunt that a chosen one fights, never pays mind to the wicked the savior cuts down, but when one survives and seeks revenge, Rex is forced to stay ahead of an unseen threat, ever unaware that he must do so as the broken solider seeks revenge, he rises from the bottom to the top. He fights for what he thinks is right Aegis be damned. He will do whatever it takes... To kill the wielder of the Aegis. Like all my fanfics this is more a first draft of a novel to me, but I hope you enjoy it anyways.
