Oh, to be unreachable... After a decade of reconstruction Flammin had gone through to become as powerful as those who destroyed her home, the Relic Queen Nike takes the former living paintbrush to complete the final stages of her training: flying. For a small moment, Flammin had an epiphany of Nike, the divine living trident and mentor who bonded with her throughout the rigors of her transformation into what she is now. This short story is part of my worldbuilding xenofiction project, World of Relics. This project encompasses a world of living objects and relics that came to rise shortly after the Inversion Event, an event that killed both mortals and their gods, stole their souls, and remade them into living objects. And how does Victoria fit into all of this? All these questions and more will be addressed in this prequel novella to the musical Cats! Note: I'm mostly going off of the 1998 film, but will also include elements from the Broadway revival and Jacob Brent's commentary. If something doesn't make sense (for example, how anthropomorphic the cats are in any given scene) then just default to the 1998 version.

Each, with their own reasons for chasing these gems, find themselves patching old wounds from the war. Three cursed merfolk, willing to cross into the soul worlds, know that they too shall perish without the presence of gems. Within the circles of their troubles, the three find themselves stuck with the choice of dying, or saving their people, and the choice is all theirs. There is something out there calling them, and when they find it, they'll return with their species' lifeblood; Ersboric gemstones. Fins Above: HOPE is an intermission of 24 chapters, which takes place between REUNION and FLIGHT. HOPE tells the lead up to the events of FLIGHT, and explores old parts of previous installments. Sponge, Furytail, and Bankfoot, the three cursed merfolk in a new prophecy realize that they have the power to aid their people, and when confronted with the grim reality that they will die without these gemstones, the three team up to venture into the planes of existence to find them.

Book 1: First Hope Raiju, a young Boltreaver, had never felt truly loved by their father. At the age of 5, and born as an alpha of their species, there seemed to be tensions rising between Fervor and his child. Suddenly, when what appears to be a hoard of black dragons taking over Smolder, Raiju is finally fit into their place. Maybe it was the color of their dark, black fur. Will what they believe in change, or will it be for worse? (As an adult dragon, Raiju is a he/they nonbinary lesbian. Pronouns ≠ gender.)

Also, I haven't written any background context, so it might be quite confusing if you don't know the lore. Anyway here's a summary: Kes climbs to the summit of Mt. Elmeset where he meets Temendi the Firewolf. Temendi explains their backstory to Kes, and answers questions about the meaning of life.

Believe it or not, I actually love AI and these short...'essays' came from my fascinated analysis of a particularly elegant chatbot I got the chance to test.

In a society where humans disappeared and dogs are still stuck in the humans ways. purebreds are beautiful and graceful, clean and neat, while mutts are often scoffed or sneered at. Pepper must learn how to live in a society that despises her very creation. On top of bullying from her classmates and hate from one of her barn mates, tragedy strikes and she loses the only parental figures she has. now she must learn life alone while also discovering her mothers secret past.

When some young Seldnacs ask Sky to help find some volunteers for their potaling-practice, she quickly agrees - But the practice itself takes an unexpected turn...

Bronze, an injured SCORPIOM meerkat , is sent to the Eden project in Cornwall to recover from an injury she sustained whilst fighting the Australian bushfires. Initially annoyed, her partner, Barley the corn snake, discovers a legend about an anthropomorphic cat called Skipper, famed for his protests against climate change around the world. UNFINISHED- WILL NOT CONTINUE As the two piece together more information about this cat through the diaries and journals he left behind, they uncover more about the past-and find clues that lead them to believe his mysterious disappearance may not have been a coincidence after all...
