It's an average day for Stanley, a lone-wolf police officer; that is, until chaos ensues on duty. After an unknown criminal leaves 7 dead, all heads turn to look at Stanley. He flees his framing and runs into Xeno, a sleek forensic pathologist. Xeno agrees to help find the real murderer and clear Stanley's name, but there's something else there: this tingly, heart-racing feeling that circulates when they get close. Will they find the culprit? Will they discover their mutual love? Author's Notes: - This is an AU, obviously, so there was no petrification. Ever since the petrification happened and Dr Xeno's new kingdom rose, Stanley has been finding himself lost in thoughts-about how he might feel for his supposedly best friend. He knows what type of person Xeno is, he doesn't like rejections, the word: "No", especially when it comes to his loyal pupils, his knight-Stanley. A strange disease is spreading, people with unrequited and one sided love develop blooming flowers deep inside their organs. The flowers will soon flourish and thrive upon their day of death.
