His Sister Alexa brings over a group of friends, and that's where it all starts. His curtains must always be shut, the windows are always closed, and the lights are always very dim. Ryder hasn't seen the sun in what seems like years. He longs to see the sun once more but knows that if he gets outside... terrible things will happen.
