Several years after XTale is erased from existence, X!Gaster finds a way to bring it back. However, to do so, he needs cross, so that he can restore him to the code of the AU. He attempted to separate X!Chara, or "X", from Cross' SOUL to destroy him, but was unsuccessful. Instead, he trapped X in the subconscious of Cross - now known as "X!Sans". Blissfully unaware of this fact, X!Gaster proceeds to experiment on XTale, just as he did before. After several RESETS, X escapes from his prison in "X!Sans'" mind, and will do anything it takes to turn "X!Sans" back into Cross, and get rid of X!Gaster... Even if it means destroying XTale all over again. Note: Please keep in mind, this is in no way, shape, or form Canon in XTale or Underverse, and none of the characters or art belong to me unless stated otherwise. XTale belongs to Jakei.

Frisk, a human teenager, bullied for hiding her eyes. One day, two of her bullys, Ryan and Sky, chased her to Mt. Ebott, resulting to her fall into the Underground, home of Monsters. Frisk had the power to reset the world, to when she fell, but in one of these resets, the most recent, the two bullys followed her. Y/N, the pun loving, ketchup addicted, skelleton, yelled at by others, such as his brother, Papyrus, and head of the royal gaurd, Undyne, though he didn't really care. He hates making promises, but he has one that he's keeping, for the time being. He has the ability to remember the resets, which caused him to give up, knowing he'd never have a future.

"No more Creation." "No more Destruction." These were the conditions of the Truce that Ink and Error had. However once coming across another self destructing Au Ink couldn't help himself but to prevent this from happening once more. Later on Error starts to question if The Protector of the multiverse is really keeping up with his end of the bargain in regards of their Truce since he hasn't heard from him in awhile. He eventually let's his curiosity get the better of him and ends up checking on Ink. Once he finds out what Ink has been doing behind his back he was done following the rules of their Truce and he was done playing games. So...What if Error had found out that Ink had broken their Truce before the canon events of Underverse? What if, as one of many possible scenarios, the X Event failed? XGaster's greatest creation that was crafted together with Ink as a partner failed sometime after the bearer of the purple soul recreated the multiverse. The circumstances are unknown, but an anomaly happened, XGaster died and his creations, instead of vanishing with their creator, were scattered through the whole multiverse. Their chances to find each other in the vastness of the multiverse are miniscule. Being cursed with loneliness they are blessed with something else - The powers they received in the third phase of the X Event remain within their souls and additionally they possess the ability to freely hop from one universe to another. Scattered X-iles explores the Xtale cast from I (XAsriel) to X (Cross) one chapter per character and shines some light on their interactions within the multiverse.
