Disclaimer: I do not own Glitchtale, Undertale, and Underverse/X-Tale. I only own my OC and a few other pics that I drew. This book is the second book timelinewise, but this is the first book. Also, this is a new AU, will be explained in the story. A human falls into the Underground, but is badly wounded because she had a rough fall. Asgore finds the human, but sees that her SOUL is cracked and has no use for him. He gives the human to XGaster, for experimental purposes. So, the most dangerous weapon of all time was created...but nobody knew at that time.

What if, as one of many possible scenarios, the X Event failed? XGaster's greatest creation that was crafted together with Ink as a partner failed sometime after the bearer of the purple soul recreated the multiverse. The circumstances are unknown, but an anomaly happened, XGaster died and his creations, instead of vanishing with their creator, were scattered through the whole multiverse. Their chances to find each other in the vastness of the multiverse are miniscule. Being cursed with loneliness they are blessed with something else - The powers they received in the third phase of the X Event remain within their souls and additionally they possess the ability to freely hop from one universe to another. Scattered X-iles explores the Xtale cast from I (XAsriel) to X (Cross) one chapter per character and shines some light on their interactions within the multiverse. So, what are these incredibly strong beings up to? Will they find new purposes or remain trapped in their horrific past?

This is a continuation of the canceled Dreamtale AU called Driftverse. The story will pick up where the original Driftverse left off. (By "left off" I don't mean where the comic stopped. I mean where the story was supposed to end according to the post that explains how the story would have played out if it weren't discontinued.) None of this is canon to the original Driftverse. Gender neutral!] It's been ten years since XGaster was killed and the multiverse was salvaged. Universes have slowly been rebuilt, with their residents moving back in. The omega timeline was deserted. One day, a purple soul appears in the void. It takes the form of XGaster's daughter. She simply called herself X. She was the new threat, the heir of the one who took everything from you. The new generation of monsters and humans has to assist in the fight, now that they're old enough to comprehend what's going on. The new generation is fierce, tough, and ready to take on anything. After all, hope is so much stronger than fear.

This doesn't 100% follow the original Xtale story even before the babifacation of Gaster. When a pure yet genius soul dies at the same moment one of Xtale Gaster's overwrites goes wrong. Being reborn in XGaster's now baby body they don't gain any of his memories and are highly confused about the scene before them. With C.C gunning for his death along with Papyrus and Sans saving them their thrown into a strange black and white universe called Xtale with things that they believed impossible.

While monsters and humans live together in the surface mers rule the ocean, sea creatures that are half fish and half monster, and those living deeper in the ocean are known as leviathans. However those are just old tales, they aren't real....but what if they were? And someone was dedicated to tame those leviathans and rule over land and sea?
