Doing much, much simpler jobs which wouldn't require them actually inside the palace or gardens. There were few that actually are relevant to most. The few servants that cared for the royal family and relatives were the ones who had to follow every rule, without fail. Eyes fixed on the lady descending the stairs with heavy slow steps in her blue gown, his breath hitched. Her beauty was wondrous, with ocean blue eyes, black hair soft as silk, lips red as roses, a bright smile full of sunshine and a voice that flowed smooth as a river. Even with all her beauty, she remained separated by the rest of the world. His heart fluttered with her in his vision and An Unknown Feeling crept up in his chest. He never really understood that feeling. Not even after 800 years.

Years and years after his banishment, Yin Yu finds himself happily working along Hua Cheng, who appreciates his hard work (although he's often unwilling to show this). Everything is at ease in Yin Yu's mind, he can rest at last without the Heavens hot on his back. However, there's a hint of danger on the horizon. After a visit from the Crown Prince of Xianle and his attendants, Yin Yu is burdened with the information that he's prophesied to ascend to the Heaven realm once more to reclaim his martial god status. Hua Cheng certainly isn't as inclined to let his assistant go. The more desperate he becomes to keep Yin Yu safe and out of the hands of the Heavens, he begins to realize that the valuable secrets of his domain aren't the only things he wants to keep Yin Yu in his grasp for. Confusing emotions and first blossoms of love are handled with care as Hua Cheng and Yin Yu struggle to keep their minds at ease through this trial. And they must rely on no one but themselves to make sure that they aren't being deceived.

After finding out Hua Cheng's real identity, Xie Lian gets torn between complicated emotions; having some time alone with his thoughts, he remembers everything that happened after he first left The Heavens, and what put him well on the way of recovery. Back then, and now.
