How cruel of the novel to make him a disposable character that has no meaning but to reignite complicated feelings between the protagonists just for some climatic plot point! Plus, he absolutely cannot let Xianle fall! He has to save everyone! Only if the novel did not have so many plot holes! Like it was never even properly explained how the mighty kingdom of Xianle fell? Or why the main villain Hua Cheng, who is so powerful that he defeated 33 heavenly officials(how cool!), has such deep hatred for the two protagonists? Or even what his life was like after he got banished, hell, the novel did not even bother mentioning why he was banished?!? Also, how come the main villain is so friendly with him???
