Sadly, Lumine isn't too fond of the idea. As Xiao does his best to help Lumine, he discovers truths about himself as well, as well as much more. What did he discover? Lumine witnesses with her own eyes, Xiao, her one true love sacrificing himself to let her and the others return to the surface. Unexpectedly, she finds Zhongli along with Xiao's body right in front of him. He informs her that Xiao's soul is scattered and that the only way to save him from falling into the depths of the underworld, is to obtain the soul-refreshing stone which has the ability to gather and mend a soul. She and Paimon travel back in time to a thousand years ago, where the soul-refreshing stone had remained vital. At the same time, they also encountered a completely different Xiao they haven't known before. However things get complicated when Lumine begins spending time with him while they lessly remained searching for the stone. Will the Traveler find the soul-refreshing stone in time?
