Lumine witnesses with her own eyes, Xiao, her one true love sacrificing himself to let her and the others return to the surface. Unexpectedly, she finds Zhongli along with Xiao's body right in front of him. He informs her that Xiao's soul is scattered and that the only way to save him from falling into the depths of the underworld, is to obtain the soul-refreshing stone which has the ability to gather and mend a soul. She and Paimon travel back in time to a thousand years ago, where the soul-refreshing stone had remained vital. At the same time, they also encountered a completely different Xiao they haven't known before. However things get complicated when Lumine begins spending time with him while they lessly remained searching for the stone. Will the Traveler find the soul-refreshing stone in time?

After all summer, she can finally see her crush. Nobody other than Xiao. Xiao and Lumine have known each-other since they were small. Over the years, she fell for his collected, protective, and persistent attitude. Though...she had only seen him even slightly smile one. That hasn't stopped her crush through. She nearly freaks out whenever Lumine is even in the same room as him. As for Xiao, he has his close circle of friends. Hu Tao, Aether, Xangling, and a few others. They all knew that Xiao, despite his appearance, was slowly yet surely showing more signs that he was...happy? Maybe it was the crisp fall air, or even being able to hide out in his dad's classroom (Mister Zhongli, who taught Geology). No matter what the excuse was, Xiao's friends all knew the truth. But what would happen when Xiao would realize the truth for himself? If you've made it this far, you'll likely enjoy the story of how one emo king learns what the world is truly like with the help of new and old friends. Khaenri'ah (Also Aeyaka aka Aether x Ayaka and times were Scaramouche or Childe hit on Lumine) Each nations have a royal family, and they all worship one God which is Jesus (I am a Christian and I love my Lord so I will be changing things up including the Archons who will now be Kings and Queens instead.) But conflicts between the nations arise against each other and 7 nations go against Khaenri'ah for some...reasons. The young prince and princess of khaenri'ah Lumine and Aether will have to go through some...agreements to keep the nations at peace with their home, and to please their parents. Lumine finally goes to the café her best friend Hu Tao works, to get a part time job. Little does she know that, the café run by Zhongli isn't normal and get's to meet a guy named Xiao. This is a Xiaolumi (Xiao × Lumine) ship story and a Genshin Highschool AU. I also have a ton of other Genshin storys in mind (yes some other ships too) so please be patient , but I promise I am focused on this one and I'm trying to be as quick as I can!!
