She was there when her parents died. She witnessed it all. Two consecutive gunshots fired at the sack-covered heads of the people she used to call Mom and Dad. If someone kicked their bodies, would they be able to move like when you kicked a rock and it rolls on its own? Now she knows it's not possible. Fast forward to the present, she was out there, beating people older and younger than her, sometimes even bigger. And then killing them. But not because she wanted to, but because she was ordered to do so. By the same people who killed her parents-the people who took her out from the streets after she was left with no one. When given an assignment, she'd make up excuses to her professors, her friends, her classmates just so she could sneak out and follow-through the order. And by the next day, she'd laugh along with them like she didn't just commit murder the night before. That's how her life has been ever since she turned 18.
