Manolo X Reader In this book, the reader takes the place of Maria Posada. I grew up of The Book of Life and can quote this movie word for word if I wanted to. This story will follow along with the storyline of the movie. I did this because there are no X readers for this movie and it makes me sad because this is one of my most favorite movies of all time. Anyways, hope you all enjoy!

Every story has a beginning, middle and end but like La Muerte said, all the world is full of stories and all of the stories are in the Book of Life. But now Sasha, Sanjay, Jane, Joao and Luka are about to write new stories for the book with help from Manolo, Joaquin, Maria and all their friends, learning valuable life lessons and maybe even share a song or two along the way.

Most likely this will be a whole buncha cute one shots about Xibalba and La Muerte from 'The Book of Life' by Guillermo del Toro.

This is mostly going to be a La Muerte and Xibalba story, but we'll see where it goes. (Please be patient with me. This movie inspired me and I'm just testing the waters to see how I will write something like it.) Enjoy.

La Muerte is the beloved goddess of death and queen of the land of the remembered. Her husband Xibalba is also the god of death and king of the land of the forgotten. When Xibalba offers a wager on a certain day of the dead, La Muerte cant resist and says yes. Will she win or will she end up giving everything she has to her estranged husband?

"Everyone Has A Story..." What if La Muerte had a brother, what if he helped his sister rule the land of forgotten? What if he loved life and the after life, but he has traveled all over the world of the living, but What If he entered the bet his sister and Xibalba made that day? What does fate have in-store when not even the Book Of Life knows. Xibalba works at the museum to be able to look over the Book of Life. Or so he says. When La Muerte finds out, what kind of lesson will she teach Xibalba?

Xibalba fell in love with La Muerte first. With his wager, will he be able to bring them closer together?

La Muerte has met Xibalba for the first time and finds him utterly annoying, so why can't she get him out of her mind? Candlemaker may have the answer to that question, whether La Muerte likes the answer of not.

(also isabella will be a aromantic character so idk if this is a Zatz x Oc because isabella sees Zatz a friend but sometimes she was falling for him)

She hasn't been to the small town the two lived in for over 3 years, what happens when she tells the children she is looking for a place to live for awhile? What if she goes with Hannah, Jimmy and his friends out to go trick-or-treating? What about if she leaves the children for a few minutes and comes to find Hannah gone after entering a 'haunted' house? What if the children learn a very deep secret of their Aunt Maria?

Ok so, this is a story about La Muerte, Xibalba, Joaquín, Maria and Manolo all stuck together in a random circular room. Nobody knows how they got there. Though a person has dares and questions in store for them 😈. Something I'm making out of boredom. From the Book of Life btw. Enjoy <3

They start to have visions of creatures, warriors, battles from another time. But they can't help but feel as though there's something familiar about them. And the sun and moon start to take notice. One year later, after their last wager, La Muerte and Xibalba set another wager of which of them has the right opinion about humans/mortals. The unexpected wager gone crazy when a mortal human girl from another world came, and turned the Land of the Forgotten upside down.
