Good morning/afternoon/evening, this fanfiction will be about two characters from a game called "Genshin Impact" !! Those two characters are named Xingqiu and Chongyun. I do ‼️NOT‼️ claim any of these characters to be mine, these characters are from HOYOVERSE. DISCLAIMER : I haven't exactly played Genshin Impact in a while so if ever these characters act out of character; I apologize! I will be trying to make them to be in character as much as possible. Hu Tao and Xiao were two students at the same high school who were polar opposites. Hu Tao was the popular, extroverted girl who always had a smile on her face and a joke to share. Xiao, on the other hand, was the quiet, mysterious transfer student who kept to himself and seemed to always have a cloud over his head. Despite their differences, they both found themselves in the same class together and were frequently paired up as partners for group projects. At first, they struggled to get along, with Xiao barely speaking and Hu Tao constantly trying to break the tension with her jokes. But as the year progressed, they started to understand each other a little better. As they worked together, they discovered that they had a shared love of history and philosophy. They would often stay after school to discuss their latest findings and theories, losing track of time as they lost themselves in the conversation. Hu Tao's friends were surprised to see her spending so much time with Xiao and even thought that she might have a crush on him. But Hu Tao knew that it was more than that. She saw something in Xiao that she had never seen before - a passion for life that she wanted to bring out in him. As they spent more and more time together, the walls between them started to come down. They laughed and talked like old friends, with Xiao opening up about his past and Hu Tao showing him how to lighten up and let loose. By the end of the school year, they had become two of the closest friends in the whole school. They had learned from each other, shared secrets and laughs, and had created memories that would last a lifetime. And even though they knew that they would be going their separate ways after graduation, they both knew that their friendship would never be forgotten.
