Good morning/afternoon/evening, this fanfiction will be about two characters from a game called "Genshin Impact" !! Those two characters are named Xingqiu and Chongyun. I do ‼️NOT‼️ claim any of these characters to be mine, these characters are from HOYOVERSE. DISCLAIMER : I haven't exactly played Genshin Impact in a while so if ever these characters act out of character; I apologize! I will be trying to make them to be in character as much as possible. it's not a slowburn... is it a fastburn?? well i dunno, but welcome to articuno's first attempt at writing anything longer than 700 words. i actually had a lot of fun with this, and i forced my friend (who wanted to go by "best writer in the world") to do a lot of betareading for me. i think it turned out good, haha! i'm planning to break from the canon a bit after this, maybe with a rarepair like yancrose (yanfei x sucrose) where they both go to sumeru academia? that'd be so cute, i'll make some art of them. ooh or i could go an entirely different route with the "gets into fights/faithful nurse" relationship dynamic. anyone got some good canons i could draw from for that? anyway, time to stop monologuing. enjoy and stay tuned for more! I've been thinking about doing a little two-shot story about the Xingyun ship from Genshin. What better song to write it to other than Something Stupid by Frank Sinatra? Overall I think it's just a fun idea. I'm not that experienced in writing so the grammar or style might be a little off. In short, the story is very Xingqiu-heavy I wanted to the story be a reflection of his thoughts rather than an actual story between Chongyun and Xingqiu. I also posted this under my account on Ao3 I'm spreading it between both platforms :3.

After Madame Ping had told them a legend that caught the ears of four children, the four of them decided to venture far away to find this hidden Forest called - The Heart of Secrets. However, only Bennett took interest in going to this dangerous adventure. To be honest, this was also supposed to be a oneshot but the plot in my mind was too big to be in a oneshot unfortunately so I decided to make it into a story just like my recent Alberose book I'm working on currently. Xingqiu who has been in love with his best friend Chongyun for over a year decides to confess. But things don't go as planned and they slowly drift apart. When Chongyun decides to reach out to Xingqiu it's already too late......or is it?

Xingqiu and Chongyun were childhood friends. Until, they had a dispute and broke ties. Now, Xingqiu goes to college, he meets someone... who he despises. But this person has an unhealthy addiction to him... TW: Blood, gore mentions of homicide (I will not be writing smut)

After an especially intense fight between the 2 boys Xingqiu is left on his own to reflect. Realising he like likes Chongyun sends him spiralling. Was loosely based on Try Again by Jaehyun :]

This fan fiction is probably not that good because I just felt like typing something gay, so I didn't plan it out I'm sorry *cry* There will be really really soft nsfw, only a (not too detailed) making out chapter, but nothing too uncomfortable so don't worry! <3 (Btw it will also contain a little bit of Yanfei x Hu tao) I hope you enjoy this story^^
