A small delicate boy, who only had his family and chongyun to rely on. A rose in the hands of those who had no intention of keeping him. His parents don't accept him for who he is, nor his brother. His bestfriend Doesn't know how to feel about it so even he turns away. Though, being kind and proper helped gain him a reputation. Helped him find a home, and maybe.. he'll get his lover back, his dearest friend. The one who he thought was a petal on his rose, but maybe, he was just a thorn. ^^^ Hey! This is the author here, just to let you know, this whole thing is basically just the backstory to my teapot world in Genshin- this will have chongqiu angst but trust, it will be a happy ending!

Chongyun was slightly surprised when Xingqiu gave him a story to read, but he claimed that Xiangling, Xinyan and Hu Tao also got a copy, because he wanted to get some feedback before sending the story to his publisher in Inazuma. So, Chongyun decided to read it. Little did he know it wasn't exactly what he had expected...

Chongyun has been burdened by his pure yang energy from the moment he was born. He never had a place in his clan, not when he was the only exorcist that has never actually seen a demon. Things have never worked smoothly when his job is practically impossible, but what if he could change that? What if he could change it all? He needs to travel across Teyvat and change something deep inside himself, but wouldn't it be worth it?
