Hermit City is a city of heroes and villains, and Grian is one of its most reliably factual and truthful reporters. So reliable, in fact, that the Heroes' Association values him and his reports enough that they assigned him a bodyguard: HotGuy himself! Grian and Scar have been doing this for years, now, and their relationship is more than just that of bodyguard and charge. It might even be more than just a friendship! Their time to explore and find out what they are to each other is cut short when Grian starts investigating the famous Pearl Moon case, and Scar isn't there to protect him.

A Hermitcraft Hero AU where healer Grian is caught between villains, heroes, Mumbo's overprotective instincts, and far too many cats. ------- Grian shifted on his feet, uncomfortable under the weight of the villain's gaze. They both knew the question hanging between them. Why is a healer here? Healers weren't allowed to live quietly. They were accounted for. Watched. Used. Not serving coffee in a cat café. When Phantom spoke again, his voice was steady in a way it hadn't been before. "I'm in your debt."

Keralis has always loved the sea, which is why he chose to work at the aquarium-a place where he could be surrounded by the beauty of marine life every day. But there's something strange about his connection with the creatures here. Whether it's the gentle glide of an axolotl or the steady pulse of a guardian's eye following his every move, the animals seem inexplicably drawn to him. They don't just respond to his presence; they seek it out, yearning for his attention in ways that baffle his coworkers. One day, Keralis notices an unusual commotion in one of the tanks. A guardian named XB and an axolotl named X are locked in what appears to be an intense standoff-not over territory or food, but over him. Whenever he approaches, they push and jostle for his attention, flashing their colors and stirring up the water in a clear competition. At first, he finds it amusing, but as the rivalry escalates, he begins to wonder: Why do the sea creatures seem so fixated on him? Is it just his natural charm, or is there something deeper-something he has yet to uncover about himself and the bond he shares with the ocean? As Keralis tries to navigate his increasingly chaotic workdays, he starts to notice other odd occurrences-strange symbols appearing in the water, the feeling of unseen eyes watching him, and an undeniable pull toward the depths of the aquarium's largest tank. The more he tries to brush it off, the stronger the connection becomes. Could it be possible that he was meant for more than just caring for these creatures? Could the sea be calling him home? Little does he know, the answers lie beneath the surface, waiting for him to take the plunge.

Grian had been happily playing in season 7 with some of his best friends. When he randomly gets attacked in the End, he learns of a rebellion planning to kill him, leaving Hermitcraft, Mumbo, and his subjects, Watcher and Listener alike, under a tyrant's rule. However, with this attack comes a friend. A friend long thought dead. Can Grian safely neutralize the threat, keeping himself safe in the process? When one player gets forcefully turned into a Watcher and brainwashed to the point of no return, he starts attacking servers, attempting to kill the Watcher King, Xelqua. When he attacks Hermitcraft, somewhere in the back of his mind he recognizes two of the players. Having been under the effects of the Watcher realm for so long has made it near impossible to break free from his mind's prison. Near impossible. TW: Shipping of some characters! (NOT THEIR IRL SELVES, JUST THEIR MINECRAFT PERSONAS!) There may be blood, but not will not be heavily descriptive. Potential for death! Torture! (Will not be above a PG-13 type level, nor super descriptive!) If you are uncomfortable with any of these, this story is not for you, and I'd recommend you click off! The platform fell silent. Silly stepped forward, her voice cutting through the Hermits like a blade. "Breaking and entering. Burglary. Unlawful alteration of timelines." The crowd shifted uneasily. Scar's smile faltered. Mumbo's brow creased. But Silly wasn't finished. Her gaze swept over them-cold, merciless. A stunned hush rippled outward. Then she said it-clear, final, devastating: "He is the infamous villain... the World Destroyer: Grian." Every Hermit froze. Scar whispered, "You're lying." Mumbo stepped forward, shaking. "You don't know him." Xisuma's jaw tightened. "This isn't Grian." But Silly only stared back at them, unblinking. "Then where is he?" And that was the moment- the breathless, terrifying moment- when they all realized: Grian was gone. And CHRONOS had come to claim him. Xaiden Bennett (xB) was the new kid in town. Recently moved from 'a galaxy far, far away' (As a friend puts it), he ends up in Hermitcraft Boarding. Quickly making friends with Wels and Keralis, he thinks everything and everyone is good and normal. But let me tell you, it's far from that. He learns that Wels is also friends with the two ghosts that live in the dorm down the hall, and also learns that Wels was the last person seen with the ghosts before they were mysteriously murdered. Will he be able to figure out the secret Wels is hiding, or will he realize that he has been focusing on the wrong thing the entire time...

Hotguy is Hermit City's newest hero, and everyone seems to love him. Well, almost everyone. Grian can't stand the city's newest "personal military member". Grian pressed a button. That's how the shenanigans started. Then he has to learn how to deal with the consequences, and those consequences come in the form of child hermits. Thankfully he's not alone, but he is in a lot of trouble, and he needs to figure out a plan to bring them back to human form, while simultaneously dealing with kids along with the other 7 adult hermits.
