As darkness creeps through the school, the storyline takes a dramatic turn mid-arc with the return of Madelyn Pryor (formerly the Goblin Queen). Once feared, now seeking redemption, Madelyn reclaims her power and rallies the academy's heroes.

Following the events of Eternity's Dawn, the narrative shifts to Harmony Pierce Quadmon as she skips town to start over in a far yet small remote suburban town of Brookhaven. Little did she not realize the danger that looms the longer she stays as she is forced to confront her past. Will she succeed against once she realizes Chthon is back to take her? Will Chthon finally succeed in using Harmony as his mortal vessel? Will Harmony get her freedom or will this be her final stand?
