Takes place before the events of The force awakens. Kai Jenkins is a Resistance Captain/ Jedi in training before The New Jedi order is destroyed and her life is changed forever. ----------- "Black Leader, do you copy?!" I yell through the microphone in my helmet. Chaos is ensuing all around me and I am frantically moving my head to search for the familiar black x-wing but the tie fighters and other rebellion fighter ships are surrounding my view and I can't find it. A few green shots coming from an enemy fighter nearly miss my ship and blast over my head. I Quickly maneuver my ship upwards and slowdown as suddenly as I can, allowing a Tie fighter that was trailing me to shoot narrowly past my ship. I quickly target it, pressing the weapons button on my flight stick and in a matter of seconds my blasters are hitting his engines and he loses control, taking another tie fighter with him and they hit the hull of the star destroyer in a fiery explosion. I Smile brightly at the small victory before my smile falters and I huff in frustration at the failed communication attempt before, I try the radio again, this time more urgency showing through my voice and my brain makes me imagine the worst has already happened. "Black leader?! Do you copy??!" The commlink remains static for a few seconds and I flick the comms switch on my dash a few times to make sure it was still operational. "This is black leader, Copy Gold Leader." I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank God Poe I thought I saw you get hit." "You can't get rid of me that easily sweetheart."

So after much debate with myself I have finally decided to write down what I think could, and highly likely won't happen but its fun to write anyway what will happen in the upcoming new Star Wars film. You may not agree with my ships but this IS NOT A REYLO story but I may hint just to keep excitement levels up, there will be death, loss, love, fighting (Jedi and X-Wing/ TIE fighters).

Dev was born after the defeat of the empire, during the reign of the newly-founded new republic. Learning from his war-hardened uncle, he quickly became a capable pilot, though with the purchase of his ship came monetary trouble. Down on his luck, Dev chose questionable people to work with, but the destruction of Hosnian Prime has sent his galaxy into a tailspin. Who can he trust, and what side, if any, will he take? Wanderer is a story set within an altered version of the Star Wars universe, beginning shortly before the destruction of Hosnian Prime and the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Star Wars VII). It follows a protagonist trying to find his way in a galaxy exploding in war, as the New Republic and Resistance attempt to halt the seemingly unstoppable progress of the First Order. Some terms, tech, ships, etc. may be taken from Star Wars Legends, however, they will be explained, and the universe and timeline will remain an altered version of the movie canon. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the established characters, assets, or terminology from the Star Wars universe. Wanderer is intended as a derivative work, creating new stories within the established Star Wars universe.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... Four thousand years before Anakin Skywalker, there was a Sith... A Lord of Hunger, known as Darth Nihilus. He was killed by Meetra Surik and her small team. Dead, and all that remained was a haunting mask, long lost to time. Or so everyone thought. This is a combo of the Old Republic and the New Jedi Order. Also lots of non-canon references thrown in there, such as Force Unleashed and Knights of the Old Republic.

Diana is thought to be dead by everyone except for the small group of extremists who rescued her after her capture. With the help of her Specter Squadron, they encounter an opportunity to enlist a First Order spy, but Diana isn't so willing to trust the spy. *Please be aware that this does contain spoilers from The Rise of Skywalker.*
