X meets a dashing bot named Zero at his lunch table.He finds out that the famed A-Class hunter is scheduled to instruct one-on-one with him, a lowly B-Class cadet. But instead of feeling alien to Zero, who seems worlds away from X's, he feels something familiar in him... Something long forgotten.

Zero doesn't notice it at first, but he has been starting to become attracted to his partner in hunting down Mavericks, X. His attraction starts becoming more than a crush, and it starts to take his life over slowly. But, when X gets badly injured in battle, Zero gets worried more and more by the days. One day, X thinks he can make it into a battle with his leftover injuries, even though the company alarmed him to stay and finish being repaired. He gets headstrong in wanted to help Zero in one of his missions, but will he make it out fine?
