In a fantasy world filled with zombies and aliens, there stood, Landon. I little girl who didn't have a care in the real world, Just in her fantasy's. Landon Carver lived in Portland, Oregon. The town known for strange disappearences, shocking discoveries, and man eating rats. Landon's father worked as a cop for the Portland PD. He specialized in strange things that happen. One night, he never returned from work. Landon's mother, Michael, was told that he never showed up to work that morning. It's been a year since then and eventually, they found his body. His car had been driven into a lake and was sitting at the very bottom. Although the cause of death wasn't from drowning, but from something else. "Someone else" The Chief said. Michael didn't understand. Ed had no enemies. Absolutely none. None that would kill him. The cause of death was from from him being strangled. The time of death was at that time, unknown. Landon, is 9 years old. She now lives with her Grandmother in Sacramento, California. Her mother was too unstable to care for her. She was sent to an asylum about two months ago. Landon, goes to see her sometimes. Sooner or later, Landon gets a message from her father. Not a computerized message but a telepathic message. "Come find me" Landon wasn't sure what it meant. For she thought that her dad was dead. Had she been living a lie this whole time? Living in the shadows like some animal? Landon is only nine years old. She is very smart and does the reasonable thing to do: She goes back to Portland. To find what her father left for her.
