Seigmar is a well known and (mostly) respected mage. So when his brother is killed under strange as mysterious circumstances, he vows to find the culprit behind the heinous crime. Working togther with his young apprentice and a quirky (and attractive) new cadet in the guard's watch, they begin to uncover a lengthy and dangerous plot, now set in motion with the death of Seigmar's brother.
