Jonne'a Kennish is a teenager who grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother. Fellow teen Jules Vasquez, who lost her hearing at an early age, was raised by a single mother in a working-class neighborhood. One day in her high-school chemistry class, Jonne'a discovers that her blood type doesn't match either of her parents'. Official tests confirm that Jonne'a is not her parents' birth child. When the Kennish family meets Jules and her mom, Katie, they realize that the girls were switched at birth. The news prompts the Kennishes to allow Katie -- who is experiencing financial difficulties -- Jules and Jules's grandmother to live in their guest house. The two polar-opposite families struggle to learn how to live together for the sake of the girls, who try to keep their footing in both the world they know and the new one into which they are thrown.

Like many teenagers Jonne'a Stewart juggles family, friends and school, but unlike her peers. she has a secret pop-star persona called Hannah Montana when Hannah's soaring popularity threatens to take over Jonne'a's life her dad Mark steps in to give the teen a reality check back home in the Tennesse town of Crowley Corners Jonne'a embarks on an exciting adventure even Hannah Montana could not imagine.

Before their parents got married to one another, 15-year old Riker and 14-year old Jonne'a ruled their respective houses as the oldest sibling now they're in constant rivalry for top dog status of the five kids all living under one roof. The two teens will plot anything they can think of at school. with friends or other siblings to win these funny family battles.
