When 29 year old pureblood Inayaki Hio runs away from home with her 4 year old son Namori, her parents and finacè, Rido Kuran, are furious. She has to stay away as long as she can, in order to find her sister, Shizuka, and warn her about the tensions Rido is causing between theirselves and their family. Her adventure leads to Cross Academy, where she decides to get a fresh start and gets hired as a teacher. Level E vampires roam the forest, aswell as servants to Lord Rido. One simple mistake and it could cost her everything she's worked so hard to achieve. Along the way, she meets Kaien Cross, Toga Yagari, and Kaname Kuran, who only knows her as a Hio. No one else knows about her previous engagement except for Zero Kiryu, who learned of it from Lady Shizuka Hio. At first, it surprises Inayaki that her sister knew of such thing, but after hearing that she knew of Rido's plan to attack her love, she was happy that he had new entertainment.
