A city in ruins, and the people's hope swiftly crushed under the foot of the new All For One. The Ninth Inheritor of One For All is faced with a foe much too powerful for him and his friends to take. He almost loses all hope. Until an unexpected someone reignites the flame of his determination. (A quick 20-minute one-shot I wrote because of a post on r/BokuNoShipAcademia and a comment thread talking about All Might's inevitable death. It's been altered quite a bit, but not by a lot.)

Toshinori collapsed, panting heavily and clutching at the crater of a scar, biting back tears of pure agony. He really was going to die, and all before he could even dream of finding a successor. What luck. He was perfectly ready to resign himself to dying in this dirty alleyway when a man weilding a capture scarf swung down to meet him, eyes burning a gorgeous shade of red. Toshinori found his successor.

His quirk isn't his, he's seriously injured, he has time limit to his hero work, so it wouldn't be a surprise that he has another secret, right? What if his other secret is the reason he smiles so much? What if his other secret is the reason he became such a strong hero? What if his other secret crashed 1-A's lesson and held them hostage? The kids of 1-A knew what they signed up for when they started training to become heros, they knew they'll sometimes lose, they knew they can't save everyone, they knew that a hero saves people but no one saves the hero. So they never would have expected that a certain hero would start saving them, helping the ones with bad households, helping the ones who were not sure they could become heros, willingly listening to all of their problems and them. They never would have guessed that someone indeed saves the hero. The characters and main plot in this story all belong to Kohei Horikoshi. My OC and some plot points are of my own creation. Aizawa becomes increasingly suspicious of Izuku after he develops a second quirk--and one that has nothing to do with his original strength augmentation. To prove his innocence, Izuku builds up the courage to tell his teacher something he should've from the start. He tells Aizawa about the existence of One for All.

As some says, some friendships are just poorly matched friends but they work in such mysterious ways, even make people wonder how they end up as a group. This applies to these group. Consisting of Shouta AIzawa, Hizashi Yamada, Kayama Nemuri, Toshinori Yagi, Enji Todoroki . People were used to seeing the trio of UA, but soon adding Yagi to the circle, however they couldn't understand how Enji was dragged to them, but he never left since then. Deep down, Toshinori had seen Midoriya as more than just his student or his successor for One for All. To him, he had seen him like the son he never had or even wanted. But, it had to take Midoriya being involved in a life or death situation for him to finally admit it to himself.
