They said, a great light from heaven fell to earth. It was an Angel. Akatsuke, the Angel of Eclipse, a guardian of the power of the Eclipse, saw the Angel. Another light was with and then she mysteriously disappeared. The light from the fallen Angel was another Angel too, but she was different. Akatsuke took care of the Angel. And that was me. So many things happened to me after that. But enough of this, just read my story beginning when Akatsuke found me. Oh! And I forgot to tell you my name is Veronica and you'll find out who am I in my story and how I knew my name. Please just comment if there are some corrections. I hope you like it.:)

If there's a special hell for liars, LEIRA PETERSON (16) earns admittance everyday. It's the price of survival. But mother refuses to reveal where the Mehr live, warning that it's much too dangerous to undergo such a drastic procedure. And so life goes on in Yakima , Washington , the eighth driest city in the U.S. Until a boating accident on prom night reveals her secret. Now there's only one way to prevent being turned into a lab specimen. That's what they do to freaks, right? She'll have to find the Mehr on her own, and convince them to make her a full-blooded human. But the alteration process is not as dangerous as the Mehr themselves.
