Beth nicknamed Nathaniel "Nebraska" after where he came from when they were in second grade. Nine years later they found themselves in complete love. Every week Beth plays with her band at McLane's and when her big break comes, a 10 year friendship and one year relationship is on the rocks of becoming squat. After two years of Beth becoming a star and avoiding confrontation with heartbreak, she realizes she needs Nathaniel. When Beth's tour kicks off, and she stops in NYC, she reaches out to her former love only to find he's moved on and has a new girlfriend.
