The Vongola Family has many treasures in its possession, some as old as the first generation itself. Weapons of previous Bosses; the Blood of the First Boss; the Vongola Rings-you name it. Yet there is one treasure even the Family have to guard to the point that it's better to be hidden than to be used. Hidden away in the deepest part of the Vongola Vault lies something only the Vongola Bosses have the right to know... but are forbidden to use-unless absolutely necessary. Tsunayoshi Sawada, Heir Apparent and future Vongola Decimo, has been busy ever since he finished high school and moved to Italy for his college education... and advanced lessons about the mafia. But of course, being the future Vongola Decimo meant that he got little rest-for two reasons: either his Family finds chaos or chaos finds his Family. Well... what happens, happens.

Every two years, the Vongola Family's Head, the Vongola Boss pays a five-day visit to every major Mafia Family in the Vongola Alliance, in order to further strengthen the Vongola Family's bond with them and reaffirm the allied Family's loyalty and obedience to the rules of the Alliance. It's been first established during the Sixth Vongola Boss's time and treated more like a major rule rather than a tradition of the Alliance. Since the Vongola Family has many Allied Families, the Honorary Visits are reserved for the 15 Major Allies of the Vongola. As for the rest of the Allied Families, the Vongola Family arranges a Lunch Party for their Bosses and escorts. The Vongola Boss's Honorary Visit as the Alliance dubbed it, lasts for three months. The 15 Major Families in the Alliance vigorously and meticulously prepare everything for the Vongola Boss's visit because the Visit will determine whether they stay as Allies to the Vongola or not. And for sure, no one wants to be enemies of the strongest and most powerful Mafia Family in the world, unless they want a death wish.

The first day at a new school was supposed to be nerve-wracking, but I had my priorities straight: stay low-key, avoid unnecessary drama, and, most importantly, keep my new white blouse stain-free for at least a day. Apparently, the universe had other plans. Because instead of smoothly blending in, I found myself standing in the middle of the bustling cafeteria, drenched in lukewarm coffee, with a six-foot-tall rooster-haired volleyball jock staring down at me like I was some kind of rare species. That's how I met Tetsurou Kuroo.
