In befriending him, she also befriends the enemy school's football captain, Caden Russ who is Zen's step-brother.

Luck was on her side however, for the time being she was given a decent place to stay, albeit it outside. Despite having to live outside she was given protection and food. However that luck changed extremely fast when she becomes the target of someone...dangerous.. Someone that not even police wanted to be bothered with..her life will change drastically.
