There is no such thing as a good side and bad side in a war. We are both the good and bad side. It just depends on your perspective. At the end of the day when the sun goes down we are still the murderers who took the lives of hundreds and sometimes thousands. We are still the ones who have orphaned children. And you call us saints but no, soldiers are murderers who hide behind patriotism and lies. -Lorelei Jameson WARNING THIS IS A SEQUEL. Go read Journey before you read Ascension. Someone is keeping secrets and they might decide the fate of the Colony. The plan to end the war just might work but it is the most controversial topic in history. The people of Cambaar split into two sides over the final battle. Lorelei still doesn't believe it will work. As the war rages forward relationships unravel. Sanity is lost. And blood is spilt across the forbidding land. They finally begin to understand what it means when they hear "The price of war isn't just blood". 5- nuclear war (6-17-19)

First 5 chapters of my latest book, published and available worldwide now. Eighteen-year-old Clara Liwanag is a small-town girl with a big dream: to be a hard-hitting national news reporter. The only problem? She's been stuck at her family's resort in Pampanga her whole life. So she makes a foolproof plan to achieve her goal. Step One, check: Get a scholarship to study in Manila, the place where all the action is. What's not part of The Plan? Meeting basketball heartthrob and aspiring photographer Mickey King. He's annoying, distracting, and always manages to catch Clara at her worst. But as much as she hates to admit it, he has a sweet, caring side that makes her think twice. When Clara starts struggling in school and her plan falls apart, she wonders if she should have listened to her parents and stayed closer to home. Should she give up and go back, or face her fears in a city that could break her heart and her spirit? *This novel is part of the #RomanceClassFlicker series, but can be read as a standalone. The complete book is available on Amazon or my website (link in my profile page). Happy reading!

This is to help me edit my story and fix things up! Just to clear that up. Before I describe it, I have a few pointers. One, this is not yet finished. I started working on this book December of 2022. It is only halfway done, so do not expect an ending for the time being. Two, this might get published one day, but I am not so sure. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated before editing. I am a young writer, so some vocab/descriptions could be off, my apologies. Now onto the description!: This game happens every few years, the generations of new born children taking the responsibility. 40 people under the age of 25 are selected every new game. They must take the challenge before returning, allowing a final choice. Some people get notified years before, some way after. Typically a fourth back out, and another fourth of the contestants die. But once you are in... there's no going back. Filled with many different perspectives, bound to death would be a good read if you're into murder scenarios or gruesome betrayals. Anyhow, please give any necessary feedback, I'll try to update every week.

"I dunno. I heard from Heist or somebody that the agency's putting us on the Prince villain case." She said, feigning nonchalant. She knew that I was, what some would call, *obsessed* with the super villain that we called Prince. No, not the musician. I mean, that would be cool, but no. His full name was Ice Prince. Is that not the dumbest super villain name ever? It's like, you can shoot lasers out of your eyes and ice out of your fingers and have super speed and you call yourself Ice Prince?! But, each to their own I guess. Well, anyway, the reason that he was so fascinating to me was because he could do pretty much anything with water. One time he evaporated a whole lake. Another time, he started a blizzard in 80 degree weather. Nobody knew if he had a motive or if he just perversely enjoyed going around Nevada wreaking havoc. As the Ice Prince hits Las Vegas, will Cati and Asha be able to stop him, or will their city go down in ice? Don't forget to comment!!!

Aria, Meredith, Elie, and Madison have almost nothing in common. Aria is one of the most popular girls you could ever meet. Being the most pretty cheerleader brings a lot of popularity (and boys). Everyone knows her name and outsiders desperately try to get in with her but she never lets them. She only hangs out with the inner circle, as the high schoolers at Tomridge high call it. Meredith is a loner who would rather keep to herself than talk to anyone. You can often find her nose stuck in a book. She is a rather clumsy girl but that just adds onto how cute she is. Although she is ditzy she has a good heart. Elie is the smartest girl in her grade. She is constantly bombarded by people trying to copy answers off her homework and people looking for a tutor. She helps them only in exchange for information. Behind the scenes she sells information on teachers and other students to all those who seek it. She does so secretly and goes by the code name E. Madison is that one girl who is on Varsity soccer, Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Basketball. She is on the top of her game and has already been offered five scholarships in her Junior year. Secretly she doesn't like playing competitive sports but is pressured into it by her athlete friends. All she wants to do is just do well in high school and move on from that chapter in her life. Like I said, these girls have almost nothing in common, except for one thing. Lia. They were all Lia's best friends before she got kidnapped. After Lia was rescued over the summer she got put into therapy by her worried mom. During therapy Lia talks about her best friends and how thinking of them helped her cope with surviving her kidnapping.
