Flame Nova and Blue Cop are ex's because when Machina Planet still existed, Flame Nova accidentally made Blue Cop miscarry while his rebellion failed and was declared a felon for violating the sanctuary. He was expelled from the Star Guardians and sentenced to imprisonment. His body was fragmented, and his ability to combine into robot mode was permanently sealed by the power of the Metal Breath. Now, the humans were enslaved as entertainment, and the 2 billion sleeping cardbots woke up and now they made earth the new machina planet but left some trees for oxygen for the humans
