Todoroki Shouto is more of what you'd call an "indoor cat," having been homeschooled all his life he never got much of a chance to interact with others his age. There had always been an unreachable feeling whenever it came to Kamryn's goals. For years and years to come, this girl had set maybe a little over 100 goals, yet she was only fortunate enough to accomplish one. And that goal? To be something more than a lousy middle school girl fanning over Sonic The Hedgehog. She was 14 and alone in the world. Her fate had been unfortunately and tragically sealed at the young age of 6, when she was still new to everything, and could barely understand what the word "school" meant. She remembered bits and pieces from her past, but what she truly desires was an explanation. An explanation as to why her life had turned out the way it did. An explanation as to why the things that happened when they did. Why couldn't the universe wait? Why couldn't the universe had been patient with her? Given her time to grow? Given her time to comprehend her purpose in the world? She had no idea. But, what she did know was that she had to do something with her unfortunate life. It wasn't originally her main plan to take a walk down the path to become a hero, she didn't see her quirk fit. But, after being stuck in a one bedroom apartment, watching the Sonic movies on repeat, she had truly believed that she had finally found something to do with her life. An inspiration. Of course, Kamryn knew very well that being a hero was probably top 10 most difficult jobs. Especially in a world where evil lurks, taking people at their most vulnerable moments, turning them against the good guys. But, maybe, just maybe she could prevent that. Maybe she could prove herself to her ancestors, parents, and the entirety of Japan that she too can be useful. And she was going to make sure that her name is known.

It all began in Keikei City in China with the news that a bio-luminescent was born. After that, "exceptional" individuals began popping up all over the world. The cause was unclear. Time passed and the "exceptional" became the norm and fantasy became reality. At present, 80 percent of the world's population consists of superhumans with special abilities. Hero; a profession that everyone once dreamed about entered the spotlight. However, not all people are born equal and there is still a part of the population without these exceptional abilities. Among the ordinary or those who do have the ability to be a hero still exist the exceptional few who influence the world their own way. This lead to the creation of the nano-machines called Nanites. They were made with the intent of saving mankind by eliminating diseases, ending world hunger and possibly extending a human's lifespan. But it would seem that these mini machines have an even greater effect than just that. It would cause a change, the likes no one has seen before.

Sometimes you put down the wrong cards and lose a game, but sometimes, you might just want to hold on to those cards, especially if they're important. Soon, you'll find out what those cards are.
