You are a boy who spent your entire life in poverty until you decided to do something about it. You become a thief and choose to steal from the wealthy who think they are untouchable. After a heist went well, you discovered a Fox Yokai in trouble and decided to help her. She was grateful and invited you to stay in her village for a bit. You accept and find yourself having another purpose than just surviving.
