im on like episode 40 (i think?) and idk if i can watch the last 7 episodes knowing its unfinished and im probably gonna be sad... so im writing my ideas for a new ending and maybe actually writing it in story form if i feel like it

No one knows Naru's true identity yet. Mai confesses but got shot down by Naru, saying "Is it me you love or the one in your dreams?" Naru knows it's Gene but they don't.
