"A god and a human shouldn't fall in love" but they did. too hard and too deep to move on. The battle has come to an end, Yato cut his ties with Hiyori and she no longer remembers him. life goes on, she's now a medical intern living a normal life until one day, she meets him again.

After Yato and Yukine left her for months without proper explanation, she begins to wonder if Yato actually wants her to stay with him at all. Yato must reassure her of his feelings before she leaves him.

--- SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 70 AND EARLIER --- There is always a high price to pay when Heaven is angered. Opposing Heaven meant death or confinement. It was simply how the world worked. Amaterasu orders Yato's execution, and it is carried out. As per Amaterasu's sentence, Yato dies and is reincarnated as a young child in order to be accepted by Heaven. But as a result, he has lost his memories of everyone he held dear, and he no longer has a shinki to guide him...

Yato and Hiyori both have feelings for each other, but they know they'll have to say goodbye soon This is told in Yato and Hiyori's perspective. It's very brief and not very explanatory. I'm sorry. Btw, it's loosely based off of the lyrics to both of the Noragami endings, which are super sad if you examine the lyrics.
