Elle wakes up in the middle of a cracked wasteland - the unforgiving planet Genna. She doesn't know how she got there, or even who she truly is. All she has are fragments of blurry memories and the sharp, unrelenting instinct to survive. Far from her, another survivor walks the wastelands - Dek, a Yautja rejected by his own father and who just lost his brother. He seeks the Kalisk, a powerful creature which is said it's impossible to kill. Their paths cross when Elle, chased by a pack of savage scavengers, stumbles upon Dek's territory. At first, he sees her as a nuisance - weak, noisy, and irrelevant to his mission. When he realizes she might unknowingly hold the key to finding the Kalisk, Dek reluctantly decides to keep her alive. Their uneasy alliance soon turns into a fragile partnership as they face the brutal dangers of Genna: storms that peel flesh from bone, alien beasts that hunt by heat and sound, and warbands of exiled predators. Elle learns to fight, to read the patterns of the stars, and to trust the instincts she didn't know she had. Dek, in turn, begins to question the boundaries between prey and warrior, between duty and connection.

There was no one there but the darkness, the silence and the sounds of two beating hearts. "Look." He spoke and pointed at the girl's reflection. "What do you see?" His voice was husky and a bit deep. It left the poor girl in a trance till she shook it off. Staring back at him with broken and lost eyes she remained quiet. He took a step towards her and caressed her face. "I... see nothing." 'Nothing but a broken and lost girl.' The girl thought bitterly as she tried to pull away from the Yautja's hand. The Yautja didn't like that and forced her to look at him. Staring into her forest green eyes he spoke softly. "That's what you think. What I see," he moved a strand away from her face before he continued. "Is a warrior... within you."

- "YAUTJA ARE FRIEND TO NONE." - At least, that's what four hunters strictly used to follow... until THEY CAME ALONG. Four humans... from four lands... from FOUR ERAS. They have all been greatly recognized by the Great Hunters -the Yautja -but not because they've slain a Predator. Quite the opposite, in fact... Each of these humans has earned a name for themselves as a sort of 'Peacemaker' to the Yautja they have faced. Instead of trying to kill the Yautja on sight, they've shown acts of peace, kindness, allegiance, or anything that proved useful to the Great Hunters' cause, despite perceiving them as other creatures from the stories they've been told.
