Long ago in Scandinavia there was a custom that on a day of great feasting men would go on an endeavor to see the future. They would deprive themselves of food and drink and lock themselves in dark rooms. At the stroke of midnight they would venture out into the forest and talk with the creatures of their folk tales. They would circle the church in strange ways. It is said that by completing these tasks the walker would stare into the eye of creation. I present to you, an adaptation of the popular digital journey, Year Walk.

Dearest Reader, This is a short book about Swedish lore and such, I was inspired by a lovely horror game I played called Year Walk. I greatly suggest you play it, it is very interesting! After I played it, I decided to take on some of the folklore, explaining it in much detail as possible and where it came from. I wish to explore more about Year Walking as much as I can. This knowledge will be recorded in this book. Some of these stories are not for the faint-hearted, you have been warned. With the greatest regards, Eudora Garner
