This was my first attempt at a SS (Short Story). I had started this as an OS wanting to focus on some romance and heart to heart conversations between Samaina, but later decided to turn it into a 3 Shots Series, based on the positive feedback received for OS and a number of readers expressing a wish to see more of the romance and conversations and of course my own reactions to certain events in the show.

When someone is thinking about a person in solitude or while looking back at time in retrospect, the feelings in those moments are the truest ones for that person. Because that's just his/her 'own' space. But the reality is never the same. We don't even speak half of it to that person; we tend to hide our true feelings and put on a façade, even when there's a need to be spoken to. And this story is just about that... Peep inside to see what happens in the lives of Ashi and Randeep, who by the way have moved on in their lives, but a decision taken by one of them jeopardizes their bond. What was the decision taken? And by whom? Would they ever come face-to-face and confess what they think about each other?

The story is based on the show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. The show is set in the early 1990s when technology has not yet made it advances in the Indian peninsula. The OS captures the beautiful journey of two strangers Sameer and Naina who meet during an overnight train journey and develop and instan liking for each other. As the journey progresses, they open up to each other and share some wonderful conversation together. Through this story I want to tap the enigma called destiny which makes unimmaginable things possible. The characters of my story are exactly the same as the show's protagonists. This is my first attempt at writing and I dedicate this SS to my friends who encouraged me to write something on Samaina.

This is my very first story on Samaina💛. What will happen when Sameer and Naina have a fight and Naina goes to Chachaji's house. Will they get the answer of "Kyun"? Love will win or Ego? Let us find out.😉💜💛💙

This can be read as a stand-alone OS, but I feel might be better enjoyed if read after two of my other stories Sameer OS - Walking Away and Naina OS - Gudiya Ki Shaadi. I had writtedn this with the aim to bring hope and positivity to the fandom after weeks of depression, pain and heartache for Sameer, Naina and all of us!
