Alice has been shot in the eye, arm torn off, and left for dead. However, it takes more than some dismemberment to keep her down. The ex courier is on a hunt only lead by bloodthirst until she finds a certain smiley bot who immediately catches her attention. As time progresses her feelings grows stronger but she doesn't know if he would reciprocate if he knew.

Life has always been full of disappointments. But since last Monday, something's been different. Since Monday, all the tiny bits of luck in this word have faded away. All the positive has disappeared. Since Monday, the only answer I've got on any question or request was 'no'. A short story I wrote for English class. The story follows a courier named Alice, who got wrapped up in a war she knew nothing about and somehow became leader of the strip. In the aftermath of the battle, she finds herself slowly remembering things about her past and who she was along with dealing with her evergrowing feelings for the co-ruler of the Vegas Strip.
