Eight years after the war between the world and Z-One, Team 5D's left their separate ways. Though this story revolves on the one and only, Jack Atlas, the former king of Duels, as he enters St. Freya of Valkyries and his journey as he becomes a Valkyrie to fight for all the beautiful things in the world.

The Shozu family moves from New Domino to Satellite in hopes of change. But three months after they arrive, Aruki and Ben are killed. Their children, Tashira and Careen, are offered to go back to the City and live with the Director. Careen agrees, but her big sister declines and makes a run for it. She travels until she meets a nice lady, Martha, who runs an orphanage. There she makes friends with three boys; Yusei, Crow, and Jack. Years later, they meet Kalin and join together to make Satellite a better place for its residents. But when Kalin gets arrested and Tashira goes missing, everything crumbles. Two years pass, and Tashira is found in the City, but seems to have forgotten her past and friends! What will come about when she is confronted by them, learns that she might be the world's only hope from destruction, and that her friend and uncle are against her?

A small writing warm-up and an excerpt for an animal/magical creatures AU. I don't actually have anything written for this AU, and I don't plan on really writing for it seriously aside from a couple tidbits here and there. It'll mostly serve as practice for me. The following ficlet takes place at a bar owned by liontaur!Dragan. Crow (a crow harpy) and Jack (maybe a feathered dragon?) are sitting at the bar talking with Dragan and Brave (a naga who is being hunted for his shiny hide; Crow and his friends are trying to help him stay safe), the latter two who are both behind the bar. Harald (a naga that can use magic to shape his tail into legs) is with Crow and Jack. The Yuusei, a disabled swamp dragon, enters.

After Zero Reverse separated Neo Domino City and Satellite, a lot of people died and children left orphans who were taken care of by Martha. Crow, Jack, and Yusei soon accepted a new girl that was brought in who loved keeping flowers in her hair, so they named her Hanako (Flower Child). She was a happy child, always seeing beauty in everything and playing around with boys but she had one more passion: mechanics. Instead of toys, she'd play with hammers, screws and other tools, which sometimes made Martha worry she would get hurt. When they grew up, Jack left Satellite, Yusei met new friends, and Hanako moved under the Daedalus Bridge with Crow and promised to herself that she will take care for children and make their childhood the best she can just to show them that living in Satellite isn't that bad. One day, her life changes when she decides to reunite with her old friends from the orphanage...
