Many see him and think he is simply a talented individual who hasn't seen a bit of struggle or a hard day in his life. Everyone knows of Link, the Hylian Champion who will fight along with the four other Champions against Calamity Ganon, but does anyone know how Link came to be that great Hylian Champion in the first place? This is my head-cannon story of BOTW Link's childhood and life before becoming Zelda's appointed knight. It is not cannon from Nintendo, and you can't prove it right, but you can't prove it wrong either! The Legend of Zelda and most of the main characters are owned by Nintendo, but the actual story and some of the other main characters comes from my imagination. So, I don't own Zelda, I came up with a story about a Yiga clan member who ends up joining Link after getting kicked out of the clan for refusing to kill the hero and a lizalfos who was spared when Link had the chance to kill him, and the Lizalfos just follows Link around in an attempt to get revenge for his fallen comrades, but he never seems to kill Link, despite wanting to. Buckle in, this is gonna be one WILD ride.

One hundred nineteen years ago, Master Kohga's only son was stolen from him, mere hours after he'd given birth to him. After years of fruitless searching, the shattered Yiga leader finally relented that his child would never be found. However, after countless moons of heartache, Kohga discovers entirely by chance that his long-lost son is none other than Link, the legendary hero he'd dedicated his entire life to destroying. Kohga from that day on, no matter what, he will protect and love his son, and Link returns home with him to the Yiga, to his people.

We all know that Link started as an Orphan, a regular kid, or a Princess's knight many times in the timeline, but what if something different happened this time? What if Link's origin story, was with the Yiga? What if the reason he met the champions and the Princess was because he was on a Murder mission? A scientist discovered multiversal travelling and a soldier was sent to explorez and discover New landscape. Those actions result to the spread of this New technology worldwide. A foreign company heard about this new technology and was eager to race the americans in this new technological sprint. After getting their hands on the new travelling device, the company decides to take a step further and call war on the land from the new universe that was just discovered.

Undeenia is the daughter of Master Kohga, Top Banana of the Yiga Clan. When the chosen hero is finally struck down, new problems arise. She must take on the mantle of the knight who will seal the darkness, no matter how much she doesn't want to. After that? She must save Hyrule. But maybe the darkness isn't what she thinks it is. (I've lost motivation for this and I don't have any ideas so I'm publishing a quick conclusion, and then this is finished.)
