The ice planet of Yirin was a peaceful place. The Yirini had not a care in the world, living their lives to the full without such scourges as war, famine or disease, coexisting in harmony. Until, that is, the humans came. Excerpt: The great, roaring firey thing in the sky began to descend towards them, illuminating the night with a bright yellow flame. Down it came, closer and closer... It touched the ground, and the flames vanished. It was a huge thing, tall as a mountain and wider than ten Yirini standing next to each other. It was cylindrical in shape, and it shone and reflected in a way that no Yirinu had ever seen before. A small door in the side opened with a hiss, and a whirr of well oiled cogs...
