In a small seaside town where it was warm almost all year round, there lived a young boy named Oliver. He adored the sea and everything connected to it - he studied marine creatures and kept a detailed journal of his observations. But others saw him as strange, and he was often mocked; one of his classmates, Fukase, was especially cruel, never hesitating to strike him. One day, after another act of bullying, Oliver goes to visit his mother at work to calm down - but instead, he encounters a mysterious aquatic being he's never seen before... and an unexpected bond begins to form between them! The work is written on the topic of "maritime exploration" which is related to an event that took place on the OliKassssss Discord server, of which we are members. We are not sure if we understood the topic correctly, but we were told to "interpret it at our discretion," so everything is fine, ig??

Coming home from school once again, the young boy Oliver heads to his room, hoping to share some McDonald's with his brother Hio. But instead, he finds Hio sitting in the closet - upset and withdrawn. Now, inside that closet, Oliver has to figure out what's troubling his brother, comfort him, and hopefully still enjoy their meal together. (We were going to post this after our OliKase fanfic, but we thought it wouldn't be as relevant anymore, which would make it not feel as vivid, so enjoy it now! Especially since..... due to final exams and stress, it looks like we're going to be a little late with the OliKase fanfic, so it's going to have to wait longer than planned, which is why we decided to post something small now!)

On Christmas Eve, a boy named Oliver can think of only one thing: going to the town Christmas tree. But he is seriously ill, and his parents won't allow it. All he can do is watch it from his bedroom window. Yet the moment he leans out, trying to catch the sounds of the celebration, the wind tears a glow shaped like a little star from his chest - a glow Oliver has been able to see ever since he fell ill. It used to keep him warm, but now it's gone, and the boy begins to freeze... It feels like the end has come. But then his older brother, Hio, appears - he has a glow of his own and can see it, too. The brothers, warmed by only a single glow between them, decide to set out in search of the one that was stolen away... And so their journey begins... a journey destined to become the brightest in the boys' lives! The first Vocaloids sung in English, LEON and LOLA. Sweet ANN and Big AL , along with Miriam and Sonika came in Vocaloid2. Oliver, along with YOHIOloid, and Avanna were released for Vocaloid3. Even after all this time, they were always pushed to the wayside of the Japanese singing ones. Not for long, if Oliver was going to have anything to do with it.

I want to get my headcannons out instead of keeping them in my head. Updates may not be very often, but we'll see.

"I hear! I can't be.." Piko trailed off, no doubt at loss for another word. "I get it, but can't make them get me." "Ah, got it," Oliver laughed softly, but screeched when Piko flicked his tail and scattered countless droplets onto Oliver. "I'll learn," Piko rolled his eyes. "How? You can't get up and walk to a library," Oliver replied somewhat condescendingly, smirking and crossing his arms in the same moody manner Piko had. "Actually," Piko scoffed matter-of-factly and began to drag himself out of the water, "you're wrong."

I've been thinking- what are the real messages or true meanings to Vocaloid songs? You might already have your own theories, or maybe you just really don't want to know, and I'm perfectly fine with that. Just hear me out, I've thought quite a while on all of these, so some of them are honestly pretty good explanations or theories about the songs. I'm pretty sure this will include lots of the memesquad, YOHIOloid, and Gumi, because they have the songs that really need explaining sometimes. Some aren't really a meaning-metaphor situation, but I think it'll still make a little sense in this story or whatever this is. Hoping you'll find it helpful or fun to read.
