Spinning around a small chuckle escaped as Clara looked at the ancient Yorkshire terrier laying spread out between her office and hallway. Slowly unfurling her legs from underneath her tired body she moved gracefully from the office chair to scoop Freckles up before making her way to her much needed bed.
