This is something to help anyone who's been struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts. Just a short little thing :D

I wrote this thinking of kids who get bullied and how kids can be scared to tell someone what is going on.

Bliss swaying in the wind, Chiming to the sorrow of my broken heart, Longing for his lips on mine, Rain drops falling down my cheeks, The cool wind blows away the love that has turned to dust, The sun shines on my wounds as they heal, Lost in the lies and drowned by misery, But yet my heart beats, "Oh love of mine why must you leave me?" The wind chimes play these sad lyrics day and night, Tik Tok, Tik Tok, When will all this end? I face the wall as I lay in bed, Listening to the wind chimes cry, I turn knowing you wouldn't be laying there, yet I still hope it was merely a bad dream, "Please please love of mine come back to me" I hugged the pillow that once held your head as you dreamt, I can still smell the scent of your shampoo on the pillow case, "Why must you make me suffer like this?!" Angry I threw the pillow in to the wash, Ripped down the wind chimes, threw it in to the neighbors garden, Falling to my knees I cried like a small child, Praying for God to strike me dea

This is my view point of being bullied and from a personal stand point on it. It will be okay and it is okay to stand up for yourself.

On The Edge is an original script that I decided to write as part of my personal project for school. This play falls under the category of play of ideas. If you don't know what that means, it means that this play highlights social issues of today. In order to write this play, I had to research suicide, depression, social anxiety, bullying, and bipolar disorder and embed what I learned into characters. I researched using the internet as well as interviewing people that I know who deal with some of these issues. By writing this, I wanted to educate myself as well as spread awareness about these issues. I hope that if you are someone who deals with these issues that this play can help you know that you are not alone and help show that you have options to get help. I hope that if you are someone who knows another dealing with these issues that this play can help you better understand how you can be there for them and help them. This script is technically finished, but i will continue to edit it to make it better. I will edit based on the critiques i receive on here and well personal goals on how I want to change it. Ah most people find themselves in situations such as these. I'm here to tell you that you are not alone. There are a lot of other people who face domestic abuse everyday, most cases worse than mine. If you find yourself in these situations, do not isolate yourself, because that leaves you alone with your thoughts, which can be dangerous at the moment. Find someone you trust to talk to, so you can get it off your chest rather than keeping it bottled up, waiting to burst someday. Do whatever you can to cope with it, anything that suits you. Find your escape. Take care!
