Jimmy, weary of his impoverished life, kneels in his room, pouring out his heart in desperate prayers for the means to afford the luxuries others at school possess. His tearful plea echoes into the darkness, seemingly unheard. Yet, an unusual encounter awaits him during a nightly chore. As he disposes of trash, a mysterious man emerges under the dim glow of a lone streetlight, an eerie anomaly in the usually illuminated night. The man, sensing Jimmy's desperation, proposes a deal that could change his fate.
