Because of her being hybrid she has connections to the world of demons. Teto-san then vowed to help Miku-dono as well. Because Teto is able to harness the darkest of demon powers she is Miku's right hand man. Teto-san discovered that to increase Miku's power they need to sacrifice humans. So Miku-dono has Youkai and Teto-san doing that. That should bring you up to speed.
